Creating a setlist isn’t easy. There’s the songs you simply must play, but after that it becomes much more difficult to choose which songs to discard. The easiest solution is to not work off a setlist at all, but when you have a memory like mine you really need the list. October 5 looms like an iceberg lying silently in wait, ready to send my plans for a nice little evening’s entertainment to the bottom of the icy sea.
